If you think the hardest part of this journey was moving out, it was not.
We have moved. We are worshipping together every Sunday at MacArthur High School. And everything is working. But while we gather each week, another team is preparing the place where future generations will encounter Jesus.
Together, you have made over $3.4 million in commitments toward The Future Is Now. And we have now crossed $1 million given. Over a million dollars of sacrifice. Over a million dollars saying yes to what God is building through this house.
This is really happening. The rooms are taking shape. The finish line is closer than it has ever been. If you have been giving toward your commitment, keep going. This is the season it was made for. If you have fulfilled yours, would you prayerfully consider going beyond it? And if you have not made a commitment yet, there is still time.
At Make Your Mark Sunday, many of you walked through the building. You wrote your names. You wrote prayers. You wrote Scriptures on the floors and walls of our future home. Soon those signatures will disappear beneath the flooring. No one will ever see them again. But years from now, someone may receive the life of Christ in that room. A child may hear the Gospel for the very first time. Someone searching for hope may finally find it. All while standing over prayers they never knew were beneath their feet. The signatures will disappear. The impact never will.
We are in the final stretch. Most people think the hardest part comes before the move. It does not. It comes right before the finish line. That is exactly where we are. Let’s finish what we started together.
