Let me ruin a myth real quick.
People think pastors wake up every morning super spiritual.
Like we roll out of bed glowing… quoting Scripture… ready to part the Red Sea before breakfast.
Yeah… not exactly.
Some mornings I wake up full of faith and ready to take on the world.
Other mornings my brain is already running a thousand miles an hour before my feet even hit the floor.
Some days I feel strong.
Some days I feel tired.
Some days I feel grateful.
Some days I feel a little overwhelmed.
Welcome to being human.
And that’s exactly why I’m writing this.
Because the Christian life was never meant to be built on how you feel when you wake up.
Feelings are real. We all have them.
But they’re not always reliable.
Some days you feel close to God.
Other days you feel distracted, distant, or spiritually flat.
But the truth didn’t change overnight.
God’s love for you is sure, eternal, and never-changing.
Your emotions didn’t write the gospel.
Jesus did.
Which means even on a messy day, this is still true:
Your feelings may move around…
But the truth about you hasn’t moved an inch.
The moment you trusted Jesus, something permanent happened.
You were placed in Christ.
And Christ was placed in you.
That means right now… not when you feel stronger, not when life settles down… right now:
Not because today feels perfect…
…but because Jesus already finished the work.
So wherever you are today… whether you woke up confident, stressed, tired, hopeful, or somewhere in between…
The truth has not changed.
You are loved.
Nothing can separate you from that.
Not your past.
Not your struggles.
Not your emotions.
Not even you.
