You’ve Been Saying the Wrong Things Your Whole Life. Here’s How to Fix It.
Here’s the thing nobody tells you: you’re always speaking. Under your breath. In your head. Out loud in the car. And most of it (if we’re being brutally honest) is doubt, dread, and recycled negativity.
The Bible says it plain: “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.” (Psalm 107:2)
Not think so. Not feel so. Say so.
The Problem
Most believers have a theology in their head and a funeral in their mouth. They know the promises but they speak the problems. They know who God says they are but they agree with every insult the enemy whispers.
Words aren’t just noise. They’re seeds. And you’re planting something every single day.
Say what God says about the situation. Say what God says about you. Say what God says about Himself.
This isn’t positive thinking. This isn’t a vision board. This is covenant language… speaking from your identity as a redeemed son or daughter of God. It’s time to start.
20 Things to Start Saying Out Loud
- I say that my marriage is healthy and strong and my wife and I will live an enjoyable, flourishing life together.
- I say that my children will prosper.
- I say that whatever I put my hands to will succeed.
- I say that I already have everything I need for life and godliness.
- I say that I am blessed.
- I say that I am accepted.
- I say that I am righteous.
- I say that I am strong and wise.
- I say that my ears are open to the voice of the Holy Spirit in me.
- I say that I have the mind of Christ.
- I say that I am victorious and favored.
- I say that I am absolutely authorized and uniquely equipped to do what I’ve been called to do.
- I say that I am gifted and the temple of the Holy Spirit.
- I say that I prosper financially and resources spill out of me.
- I say that I am a son of God, deeply loved and overwhelmingly pleasing to my Father.
- I say that I have answers to difficult questions.
- I say that I am supernaturally protected from evil and my mind is at rest.
- I say that I am strong emotionally and physically… I am enough.
- I say that I no longer live under a low-lying black cloud of depression. That ceiling has been lifted.
- I say that my new life in Christ is adventurously expectant. Every morning I wake up and ask “What’s next, Dad? What good things do You have in store for me today? I want it all.”
Now say it like you mean it!!!
Print this list. Read it out loud every morning. Don’t whisper it… declare it. Your ears need to hear your own faith-filled voice. Say it until it stops feeling weird and starts feeling like the most natural thing in the world.
Because it’s just the truth about who you are.
The redeemed of the Lord say so!!!
