A special message from our lead pastors

To Our Calvary Family:

You, our Pastors, our Elders, + our Dream Teamers are the backbone of Calvary Church. We hope it goes without saying that your safety + wellbeing will always be our top priority.

While our pastoral staff is committed to praying for the general health + wellbeing of our church and community at all times, if you need specific prayer related to illness or anxiety during this time, please reach out to us in any of the following ways:

This weekend you may notice that we are taking precautionary steps to do what we can to help ensure the health + safety of our families. You’ll see extra hand sanitizing stations throughout the buildings at each of our locations, our staff + Dream Teamers will be diligent to wipe down + disinfect frequently used items such as door handles and surfaces, particularly in our kid’s areas. We have also asked our Hosts + Greeters to welcome everyone with a fist or elbow bump rather than hugs and handshakes.

Our goal is to stay proactive + help prevent the spread of germs however we can.

That being said, we want to encourage anyone whose health is already significantly compromised to follow the recommendations of our public health officials and your own doctor with regard to limiting contact with the public.

I’d also like to share a few other words of encouragement with you today:

1. Remember that nothing going on in our world catches God off-guard. While He is not the Author of suffering or sickness, He promises to provide comfort and healing. We look to Him as our Source of strength in all circumstances as our Protector and Provider. It is in times like these that our faith comes alive at a whole new level, and the relevance of our daily trust in Christ becomes ever more meaningful!
2. Unless our circumstances or government authorities demand otherwise, we anticipate keeping our doors open to the public for normal ministry functions. In addition to remembering that risks of COVID-19 remain statistically very low, we cannot forget that the Church is, after all, the greatest beacon of hope and joy on planet earth, and our mandate to continue trusting Jesus is not diminished by any external threat.
3. While we are trusting God to provide for all of us in every way during this unsettling time, we want to remind you that Calvary can only continue to thrive in proportion to your continued financial generosity. If you do decide to limit your physical attendance at our gatherings, please feel free to utilize our online giving options via our app or website. Your faithfulness will ensure that we can remain fully functional as we minister God’s grace to everyone, everyday, everywhere.

Last, please be assured that we will be keeping an eye on any developments through our public health officials to stay updated on the situation both locally + nationally.
